All educational boards of Punjab has announced the results for matriculation examinations. This includes Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and DG Khan.

A total of 556,134 boys and 506,358 girls appeared appeared in the 10th class annual exams 2016 across the province.

Approximately 216,688 candidates appeared in exams under the supervision of BISE Lahore board.

Muhammad Shayyan got the first position in Lahore board Science group with 1086 marks and Ayesha Khalid got first in Arts group with 1055 marks.
