Staying safe in the cyber environment of Pakistan is a challenge these days. The Cyber criminals are adopting newest ways to trap the people at cyber level.   • Never trust and reply anonymous emotional SMS that (Allah Rasool k wastay ma musibat mai hun Rs.100 ka balance transfer ker do) they are all traps.
  • Always keep a difficult password for your email or online account. Regularly change to prevent hacking.
  • Beware. SMS, email or ads regarding earning money by clicking on website are traps. Dont fall prey to them.
  • Never give information of your online bank account password and pin through SMS or Email.
  • Beware. Do not upload personal pictures on facebook. They can be modified or misused.
  • Never install cracked version of any software. It may contain malicious code for hacking your system.

  • Update your antivirus software to help protect your computer against possible infection.

  • Dont Accept Offers of “Free PC Scans” That Pop up When You Use the Internet. They are Traps.
  • Only Use Trusted Wi-Fi When Connecting to the Internet. Cybercriminals can Create Fake Hotspots from Which to Steal Your Data.
