After offering free 4G LTE trials to Warid employees and Postpaid customers, Warid Telecom has finally extended it to the huge Prepaid user base.

Starting today, all Warid Prepaid customers having a 4G phone can get their SIM cards replaced from nearest Warid Business Centre and start using the services right away. However unlike Postpay customers,  users will have to pay Rs. 100 for the new SIM card.

Warid 4G customers will get the new “Trio SIM card” which can work for all types of smartphones. You don’t have to cut your SIM card to use it in micro or nano card slots as it already has the cuts.

Free 4G LTE trials are currently offered in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Peshawar. Keep in mind that during the trial period usage of 4G is free, however switching to 2G / GPRS will cost you the regular charges. To confirm the availability of 4G services, send 4G to 5555 or check the Network type under your phone settings.
